
For reasons of fire protection and safety, we ask you to leave coats, jackets, rucksacks, instruments and similar items at the guarded checkroom during events in the university's concert hall free of charge.
The concert hall has fixed bench seating with narrow and restricted aisles due to its design. Objects carried or deposited can block escape and rescue routes and pose a considerable safety risk, especially in an emergency. Loose objects also increase the risk of tripping and can increase smoke development in the event of a fire.
Leaving the above-mentioned items at the checkroom is therefore not a mere formality, but a necessary measure to comply with fire safety regulations, to keep escape and rescue routes consistently clear and, above all, to ensure the safety of all persons present.
