In the area of artistic practice, students develop their individual musical skills and expand their artistic repertoire as well as their creative approach to musical material. Artistic practice takes place both in individual lessons and in master classes in groups in order to promote collaborative
working methods.
The Performing Arts and Community Arts departments focus on the development of innovative performative and interdisciplinary workshop and performance formats. These are created in close collaboration with different communities and open up cultural and social participation (Artistic Projects module). Together, artistic and educational practice concepts, projects and productions from the field of music education are developed and artistic impulses for educational institutions are developed.
A reflective position on aesthetic issues and discourses critical of the present as well as an examination of methods of artistic research support the development of an independent artistic signature (Music Education module). In addition, content on project organization, self-management and career development imparts important practical professional skills (Management module).
The artistic-pedagogical degree concludes with the conception and implementation of your own project - in a team with other students if desired. The Master's project brings together all the knowledge, experience and content acquired during the course.

The course consists of the following modules:

  • Artistic practice
  • Artistic projects
  • Management
  • Music Pedagogy
  • Master's project
