Master of Music -
Conducting Musical Theater

Boards with world significance.

The program "Master of Music Conducting Musical Theater" is aimed at graduated conductors whose performance and talent clearly indicate an aptitude for a successful career in theater. Exemplary works from the repertoire are used to illuminate all aspects of working with singers, an orchestra, and scenic realization, and to promote the development of the student's own artistic personality.
In addition, piano performance and correpetition are deepened and, for example, an Italian course is made possible. The conducting class works at least once a semester with a professional orchestra and presents the result of this collaboration in the concert hall of the university. In addition, there is the possibility of assisting in musical theater productions of the Rheinische Opernakademie of the university.

If you have any questions about the program, please contact the appropriate contact person(s).
