Audition

Students who are interested in studying music must already have a long period of intensive practical involvement with music. Proof of special aptitude is required for admission to the "Teaching Music" degree programs. The breadth of the desired competencies for music teachers is also reflected in the design of the aptitude test for the Bachelor of Arts. For this purpose, skills in instrumental playing, singing, aural skills and music theory, as well as musical direction of an ensemble are tested. Also included is an interview with the committee as well as the opportunity to present special music-related achievements that are not the subject of the examination.
