Over the years, a broad spectrum of events has developed for and by the students of the teaching degree programs, which is now a recognized and integral part of the university landscape. These include concerts as well as discussion offerings and regular opportunities for information and advice.
University competition for music education
The next University Competition for Music Education will take place on May 6, 2026 at the University of Music and Performing Arts Munich. All information on the Germany-wide competition can be found on the following homepage. The procedure is always preceded by an internal selection. The deadline for submissions to the HfMT is November 30. If you have ideas for this competition, please get in touch with a lecturer in music education who will help you with the preparation. We look forward to ideas and active participation.
