Figurations and Fantasies of Freedom in the Performing Arts

What does freedom mean in the performing arts today? Bringing together scholars, artists, curators and cultural practitioners, the conference explores how freedom is embodied, imagined, negotiated and contested through performance, institutions, histories, technologies and public space. We invite proposals for papers, panels, lecture-performances, artistic interventions, workshops and practice research presentations. Call for Papers: submissions by 25 October 2026.
