Facility Management
Department 5
The employees in Department 5 - Facility Management support the users at the Aachen, Cologne and Wuppertal sites in their everyday work, practice and teaching. We support and supplement the other departments and teaching in their work, provide space and equipment for creative work. We organize the use of the building and ensure that it runs as smoothly and safely as possible. Services in the area of order and cleanliness, gate services, locking authorizations and room bookings are just as much a part of our tasks as the repairs to the buildings, operation and maintenance of electrical, heating, ventilation and air conditioning technology as well as space management and expansion planning.
