The production program is a non-consecutive, specialized two-year master’s program. A bachelor’s degree or an equivalent degree in a related subject is required for admission.
In addition to focusing on copyright law, contract law, and ancillary copyright law, students also study the musical, technical and economic side of music production and marketing. The students are in charge of the musical and technical aspects of music production at the University’s studio, and they collaborate on the launch of the University’s own production label.

An audio CD with two music pieces that the applicant has produced independently or has helped produce in the last two years as well as documentation clearly stating the production method and the applicant’s role in the production process.

The course is divided into three modules, which must be taken over a total of four semesters. The core module in the student’s main subject plays a major role and is supplemented by the “Practical Performance in Context” module and an elective module.
The Master’s thesis or final Master’s project then concludes the programme.
