Master of Music Musiktheater

Master of Music - Musiktheater

The Master of Music program is designed for students who have completed an undergraduate degree (Diploma, Bachelor of Music) and who demonstrate exceptional promise for a career in music performance. The program offers a well-balanced curriculum, with courses in musicianship, technique, stage movement, diction, professional audition, law, and musicians’ health.

The program aims to prepare singers for a career in opera. Contributing to the success is the Rheinische Opernakademie, whose close collaborations with opera houses and other production venues provide students the stage training they need to enter the world of professional opera.
Intensive vocal instruction and a rigorous study of repertoire, lieder, diction, ensemble work, courses on law and self-management, and performance coaching give students excellent chances on the international job market as soloists or as chorus singers.
