The IVP/EME Office opened its doors during the 2016 summer semester and currently consists of four student assistants from the department. The role of the IVP/EME office is to answer questions (e.g. about the study schedule, module manuals and examination regulations, etc.) regarding the courses Instrumental Pedagogy, Vocal Pedagogy and Elemental Music Education as well as the instrumental and vocal pedagogical profile.

The student assistants are also trained to provide information on teaching methods, registration for module exams (as both assessed demonstration lessons and colloquia) and any internships and subsequent internship reports that might be required. Students can also contact the IVP/EME team with questions about colloquium module examinations and dissertations. The IVP/EME Office acts as a key point of contact for directors of the IVP and EME programmes, university lecturers, mentors and students.

The IVP/EME team is available to take telephone calls or meet directly with students during weekly contact hours. The team can also be contacted by email.
