Bachelor of Arts Dance

Bachelor of Arts - Tanz

With its thorough grounding in technique and focus on stage dance styles and dance education, the BA course in Dance is a central part of the study programme at the Centre for Contemporary Dance (CCD).

The course can be further extended through the Master’s Degree Programme in Dance Studies.

Bachelor of Arts in Dance : 1 March each year (to begin the following winter semester)

The curriculum integrates interdisciplinary, international and intercultural approaches to dance, and guarantees its students the versatility, flexibility, reflexivity and individuality that are demanded of today’s professional dancers and dance teachers. Developing practice-oriented tools through project work is as important a part of the programme as exploring methodical approaches to technique. Our aim is to enable BA students to make real progress in their research into physicality and movement, to establish a role for themselves in the professional world and to be well prepared for its challenges.
