Erasmus for Outgoings

  • Completion of at least the first year of studies
  • Good to very good academic performance
  • Student enrolled at HfMT

Necessary documents:

  • Application form (see under Downloads), duly completed and signed by all participants
  • Learning Agreement (see under Downloads)
  • Curriculum vitae in tabular form
  • Letter of motivation, written – if possible – in the national language or in English
  • 2 passport photographs
  • 1 CD with 20 minutes of repertoire
  • Evidence of your language skills
  • Copies of intermediate examination certificates, degrees/diplomas already obtained, etc.

Duration of scholarship:

  • 3 to 12 months

  • The registration deadline is March 1 of each year.

You may submit up to 3 complete applications to Ms. Gecks  by the end of February (the deadline is March 1 of each year for both semesters!).

Experience has shown that the best time for a period of study abroad is the 3rd semester year. An exchange for a complete academic year is likely to be more effective when it comes to immersing yourself into the host country's different culture, language and music scene. Given the extensive preparations this may involve it is advised to start planning just about a year before the intended departure date. Personal contacts to faculty members (academic instructors) you would like to study with at the partner university or college will be very helpful.

For detailed information on the application process for outgoing scholarships please refer to the service box on the right. More information can also be given in a personal interview. Please call for an appointment.
