In the temporary building, “An den Frauenbrüdern 1,” there is also concert hall with seating for 99 people. The concert hall’s well lit and spacious atmosphere and its astonishingly good acoustics are perfectly suited for chamber music or solo performances, small stage performances, and orchestra rehearsals as well as lectures.

Due to reconstruction efforts, other University concerts are held in the former machine hall of our sponsor, Energeticon Alsdorf, and in the baroque hall, “De Kopermolen” in Vaals, Netherlands.

The Hochschule für Musik und Tanz Köln is concurrently building a modern concert hall on Theaterstrasse that will have a state-of-the-art stage and variable acoustic settings.
