The orchestra master’s program is a goal-oriented, practical preparation for graduates of institutions of higher education for music looking for careers as orchestra musicians. The center is a joint effort between the four public institutions of higher education for music in North Rhine-Westphalia and Europe’s first inter-university education center for future orchestra musicians.

Duration of the degree program: 4 semesters
Start of program: Every winter semester
Admission requirements: A degree from an institution of higher education in Germany or abroad – instrumental degree, a minimum grade of 2.0 (B average) – as well as successfully passing the aptitude test at one of the participating institutions.
Application deadline: The application deadline for the degree programs at the four participating institutions applies.
Aptitude test: Administered at the respective institution where the applicant has applied
